The One to whom all of creation turns in need. He is sought after — He seeks no one. He has no needs — all needs are brought to Him.

How to Use This Name
Believers are encouraged to call upon Allah by His names: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them" (Quran 7:180). When you ask, ask through the name that fits your need — ask As-Samad when you need the eternal refuge.
