2. Description of Service

NoorAI is an educational website that provides AI-assisted explanations of Quranic verses, hadiths, and Islamic concepts, alongside tools such as a Zakat calculator, prayer times, qibla finder, Hijri converter, and tasbeeh counter. The Service combines content from public Islamic sources with explanations generated by large language models.

3. AI-Generated Content

Substantial portions of the Service are generated using artificial intelligence. AI output:

  • May contain factual errors, misattributions, or omitted context.
  • Does not constitute a fatwa or a binding religious ruling.
  • Is offered for general educational purposes only.

4. Educational Use Only

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or religious advice.

5. User Accounts

Some features require a free account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@noorai.site.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to spread misinformation or harmful content.
  • Attempt to manipulate, scrape at scale, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Misrepresent answers from the Service as official scholarly fatwa.
  • Submit content that is hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disable advertisements served on the Service.

7. Advertising

8. Intellectual Property

The Quranic Arabic text and English translations used on the Service are part of the public Islamic heritage. Hadith texts are sourced from public domain compilations (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and others) with attribution. Original UI design, original blog articles, and the arrangement and curation of content on this Service are the intellectual property of NoorAI. Reuse of original content requires written permission. Educational and personal use is permitted with attribution.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (authentication and database), Google AdSense (advertising), and AI inference providers. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those underlying services.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoorAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of religious, financial, medical, or legal benefit, arising from use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold NoorAI harmless from any claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these terms or harms other users.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
